As part of my research I decided to take photos of retail spaces from around Manchester and my home town Bridlington. One thing I realised was how my small home town was really dying. It only ever thrives during the summer months and other than that it is a really desolate place to live. With no good shops left other than pound lands and charity shops you can really tell how online retailers are significantly affecting this town. The first set of images are from Manchester city centre and Withington and the ones towards the end are of my home town.
